The Old Oak

Behind the house, down the road on to the left, after 20 minutes walk, you will reach the old oak tree and its fountain. You will find further information about the route in the house.

The Chestnut of Can Cuc-Cànoves

It is one of the most well known trees in the area, the widest of Catalunya (nearly 12m. wide).It was declared monumental tree. Its interior is empty, and had been inhabited by a collier who  installed inside a bed, a table, and even a fireplace. There are still visible some soot marks.
The route starts in Canovas parking lot, then follow the signs to Vallforners artificial pond.

The walk of "Lluís Companys"

Popularly known as the "route of cholesterol", is a paralel walk that runs along the road between the towns of Sant Pere and Sant Antoni of Vilamajor.
If you want to continue walking, you can connect to the "Cami Ral" in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor that reaches Llinars del Valles.

Path of "Pi Novell"

It is known as the Pi Novel path. Wich connects the area of the Vallés with the Monseny. It begins in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor from the popular footpath GR-97 thats runs through the town of Sant Pere de Vilamajor and brings you into The Montseny Natural Park. This path is connected with the GR-5 in "Pla de la Calma". 
From the house you can enter the path and decide how many kilometers you want to do.
The information point is in the historical center of Sant Pere, in the building call "The Mongia". At home we also have all the maps available.

Around the area you will see many typical farm houses called "masies".

Reaching the hill of Santa Susana (right photo) or Sant Elies (left photo) is a great challenge, both for those who go on foot or mountain bike.There and back you have about 18Km.
The "Camí Ral" de Sant Antoni de Vilamajor

Leaving the "Plaça de la Vila" in Sant Antoni de Vilamajor, going towards Canoves, we arrive to Sauleda Park, turning left, and following down Girona street, you will find the beginning of the "Cami Ral". It is an easy path with benches to relax and a fountain to placate your thirst. The road goes up to Llinars del Valles.
To get back to the house just back track the same way. If in your way down you enjoyed the views of the mountains of "El Corredor", on your way up you will enjoy the scenery of  Montseny Natural Park.
